The Start of HUG Therapy!!

Hugging is healthy
Hugging is healthy. It helps the body's immune system, it keeps you healthier, it cures depression, it reduces stress, it induces sleep, it's invigorating, it's rejuvenating, it has no unpleasant side effects, and hugging is nothing less than a miracle drug.

Hugging is all natural. It is organic, naturally sweet, no pesticides, no preservatives, no artificial ingredients and 100 percent wholesome.

Hugging is practically perfect. There are no movable parts, no batteries to wear out, no periodic check-ups, low energy consumption, high energy yield, inflation proof, nonfattening, no monthly payments, no insurance requirements, theft-proof, nontaxable, nonpolluting and, of course, fully returnable.

  1. It can be a wonderful thing when families are in the habit of sharing hugs.

Since our kids were little we maintained a habit of a quick hug when coming or going. Even through the teen years we did our best to maintain that tradition. So it was no surprised to my wife and I when we were preparing to go on a trip north to visit relatives when our 22 year old son told us to wake him so he could give us a hug and say goodbye. The next morning we woke up early for the trip and almost left without waking our Paul. But we woke him and he sat up in his bed and gave us both a nice hug and said goodbye ... and that was the last time we ever saw him. That last goodbye hug was the most precious gift and one we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

    Good hugs theme Heather...

  2. Thank you for your post, I am so sorry for your loss! I started this Hugs group as a healing because I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2010 ( I am fine now). I remember the hugs I gave my daughter's then 14 and 10 before I told them. I never wanted that HUG to end, I remember the smell of their hair the warmth of their skin, heartbeats, and the heartfelt prayer to God to give me the strength and the right words to say to them and how. I was in the hug, I make every hug that way with my family and friends, It is so healing! What a blessing that you had that HUG, God Bless you and yours always..Heather

  3. Thanks for the reply back and I'll say that I'm very glad you're better. You have had a challenging couple years to say the least. I think of these trials as being the forge to temper our souls.

Sending out a warm virtual hug to you and your family this holiday week.
